Another Newbie Contest!

This one is for the true newbie.........if you can't use the prize please don't play. If you have made more than five knives you don't need these.

I have about four or five cast double guards...brass and maybe a nickle one..I got these from Kovals when I was starting out, but now make mine from scratch.
Ya never know.....I might toss something else in too.....we will have to see.

The contest:
What did William Scagel call his home?

First correct answer wins..........Please try and keep it in the US, so I don't have to pay Air shipping.

Thanks and good luck.
Mace

Well, that was quick!
Jim, you nailed it..........!

"Dogwood Nub"

What a great place......I had the chance to check it out last August when I went out to the Scagel hammer-in. I don't recall the couples name who owns it now, but I have to say it was VERY nice of them to let us look around. It's also nice to know that they understand the hisorical value and have taken steps to preserve what they can. I also understand thier son has taken an interest in making knives.....so maybe we will see some new stuff come out of that shop!

Jim, send me your mailing info and I'll send these out to ya. If you decide you can't use them please....PLEASE pass them along to some one who will.

Sam, I liked your answer.....I'm sure he felt quite at home outdoors.

Thanks for playing guys.
Mace
