Thanks WNC Goater! Can't go wrong if you start with some Devin Thomas damascus, and let Bert Edmonston finish it up with some well placed scratches.

Well You always make nice knives MV and this is no exception. I look at some of your knives and I went to Damon's house the other day and I wished I was as good. You ought to see some of Damon's engraving too. He uses a microscope for some of it. He gave me a demonstration and it was like writing his name to him, made it look easy. Looks like your friend Bert is the same. That is some very detailed engraving.

Thanks Jim. I'd like to get into engraving. Lots of $ dollars for good tools / magnification. Would like to give it a try before I spend the $ to see if I even have the potential to be any good at it. I'm sure it's a talent that takes a lot of time to develop.
