Springfield 1911

A little more scratching on the other side and this'll start to look like something.

And Thank you to "You know who" for helping me learn how to post pictures.

Brian those are both outstanding! Two of my favorite guns as well. I've done six 1911's and one Hi- Power so far. Do you have any pics of the Ruger that you had in Reno? I'm sure everyone would love to see it also.

Speaking of Reno, are you going to display there again this year?

Thanks,
David

Here's the top of the Browning Hi-Power slide...doesn't show the scroll very well, but the inlays pop out pretty good.

Here's my Ruger Vaquero......(I sometimes wish I was a better photographer)
I don't know if I'll be at Reno this year. Spent my money attending the Grand Masters, but if it is possible to be in Reno, I'll be there. It'll be a last minute decision.

Brian,
Awesome work, but I think you made a mistake with the date on that Hi-Power.

Good eye, Sam! The reason for 2006 is because it is the 2006 Gun of the Year for the American Pistolsmiths' Guild. They will raffle it off sometime next year. The gun will be on display at the their booth at next years' (2006) Shot Show.
Raffle tickets are $20.00 each and are limited to 950 total ticket sales.

Wow, really nice "WMD's"!!! Do the Springfields cut reasonably well? I'd like to try one some day. Thanks
