Chris,

The guys are right. NOT CRAP! Especially if you learn something.

You're doing great. I can see your style coming out and it's obvious you spent a lot of thought on the design of the knife. If a knife doesn't come out as good as that mental picture the maker had...so what. Nobody besides the maker will ever know it unless they're told.

We do it for the fun of making them anyway. 20 years from now you're going to pull that knife out, really look at it and say, "Hey that was pretty dang cool!"

Keep 'um coming. I look froward to seeing your progress as a maker.

chiger,

Chris,

Sorry again for the double post.

I'm not sure who got the better deal there. In 20 years he'll still be using your knife and you probably won't have a clue where the scabbards are! ;~)

At least the blade will be with someone you know so if you ever want it back you know where to go. I have turned loose of a couple over the years I wish I could get back. Fortunately I held on to the first knife I ever made. Still use it today!

Oh, and trading it for several sheaths is proof positive. It AIN"T CRAP! ;~0
