Knife Makers Guild Show

I went to te Guild Show yesterday (a first for me) and all I can say is WOW!!! I was awe struck. I never have seen so many great looking knives in one place. On top of that, I got a chance to see and meet so many makers that I have read about in various magazines, books and such. I'm already planning on attending next years show. Oh, and a special thanks to A.T. Barr for sending me the passes to attend the show. For this I'm very appreciative and can't thank him enough!!!

Glad you got to go,but sorry we didn't to meet.I'm sure we'll get together soon for a beer.I got to finally meet AT as well super guy and makes some cool knives(his sheaths are coming along great as well).I don't know if you got to meet my buddy Frank Oldham as he is from Cocoa and is a probationary member of the Guild. I had a nice chat with Jerry Hossom but missed Steve Johnson twice.Also got to see Dogman,Ken Davis, and Steve Miller all members here.
Overall I thought the show was a little slow, not as many makers and the crowd seemed much smaller when I was there Saturday.But still had a great time as usual and scored some great supplies.Hopefully with the show moving to Sea World next year the show will get much bigger.See ya.Dave
