Display Case - Preview Thumbs or Not?
What do you think about having thumbnails on the post previews for certain boards, like the Display Case and Photo Gallery Hall of Fame, etc?
Like to try one? How to do it? Hint... 1) Use free KNet image album storage under your personal profile pages. 2) Upload full image to KNet profile album. 3) Let system create thumbnail for gallery preview. a)Use full image url to create [BB] code b)Copy thumbnail url from preview image for post preview thumb url. By uploading to (1), you also get gallery rotation on forum homepage.  I'll keep this post open for a day or two for questions, comments... I think it sounds good but I am not sure I follow the procedure. I am obviously behind the times but What is the free album storage and how does it work and what can it do for us.

I'm sorry, Steve... late response!
I'll whip up docs on how to use the new personal album feature to create thread images and thumbs. It's pretty simple, but grabbing the URL from the thumb reference link probably needs a better explanation. I'll create a sticky thread in this forum with it later.
