Number 5

This skinner is my fifth finished knife. It was developed working closely with the client. We talked extensively and spent a lot of time studying his skinning style. It is something of a departure from my typical design style, but at least I got to include my favorite handle design.

The client saw it this evening, and he loved it! The sheath is forthcoming.

4.5" blade
8.75" OA length
1095 mirror polished, FC etched, then dry buffed with a raked medium wheel
tapered tang
hand filed and sharped serrations
sharpened upper edge
jigged bone handle
dark red liners
SS pins and tube

Yea. I have yet to try any other type of grind. Hollow just seems to be pretty easy with a good wheel. Plus I prefer the look.

Thanks for lookin'

Thanks Shane. Feedback is a good motivator!

I just got some mammoth in and I'm looking for a good bar of damascus for my first knife made with "high end" materials. Wish me luck!
