Can you tell us how these nice sheathes were finished? I like the rich color and finish. What type of thread was used for the stitching?
Thanks for sharing these well-crafted sheathes with us.

Kurt, thanks so much. Have to thank Paul Long for advise and a word of encouragement once in a while.
Sending you a PM

Of course Paul might not want to admit that he was responsible for this work. LOL

Tray I always follow your work with great interest! Fine pair of knives and I love the sheath work. Paul Long is the man and I don't know what he told you but those have a great finish on them! I don't think by what I am seeing he would mind you saying that he gave words of "advise and a word of encouragement once in a while"!

Your work is indeed fine. I just I could figure out how to get a finished product that looks as good as that!!!
Try as I might mine are coming up short for that kind of look!

If I capture those three factors in each knife I build, I am assured the knife will become a piece that is used and treasured by its owner!

C Craft, Thanks so much for that great compliment. There are a few tricks and I would love to share them with you.I am almost to the point that I would rather build the sheath than the knife. Sending you PM. Thanks again. Trav
