Angry Let me vent!

This is meant as a fair warning to those shopping for a new camera. WATCH OUT FOR NEW YORK! I have tried several shops in New York looking for the new Canon D60. They have them! They just want $400 to $800 more than the suggested retail.

No Steve, that is price gouging! By jacking up the price on the camera, they lost the sale of a few lenses and a dye-sub printer. I'll wait a couple of weeks and spend my money with a company that treats me fair.

B&H was polite but didn't have what I was looking for. I did get a call yesterday from Canada. A store there was getting some in today and will put my name on one. Just in time! I have to return the one I borrowed tomorrow. Twenty years ago when I got started hot and heavy into photography I chose Canon cameras. Then over the years I migrated to Nikon as a change of pace. Funny, I find myself right back at Canon.
