2nd completed knife

This one is made from 3/16 O1 , about 7 1/2 inches long with 3 1/2 inch blade. Scales are black micarta. Still might do some more hand sanding on the handle.

already have another that has the hollow grinds going allot higher up the blade and also has some thumbs serrations cut in .... and 4 more that I am sending out for HT this week from ATS34. This is such a learning experience , every moment I can I am out in the shop...

my first one I posted here :
http://www.knifenetwork.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=27448

time to order some more steel , belts and set up a small forge....

all feedback is welcomed.

Man, it looks great!

Are you using canvas micarta on this one?

I really like the look of the handle material.... and the whole package.

Nice work,
Kelly

Great looking knife there - about the perfect size for an EDC utility type blade. Higher grinds would be nice. The handle shape is great.

A stunning piece of work for your second effort. Nice simple clean lines. And a very nice pattern for a working utility blade.

One small (tiny even) suggestion. When using mosaic pin stock, watch how you have the pattern of the pin turned in relation to the line if the handle and blade. I like to go with directly in-line or turned 45 degrees off-line. You look to be somewhare between those choices.
