Emerging from work detail in North Idaho!

hey gang!

It's been waaaaay too long since my last visit here. We moved from Colorado in early June and have been in the process of building a small home with LARGE decks! I'm guessing we are about half way there now and still have the hvac, electric, plumbing and interior....hmmmm, maybe we are only a third the way there....

We never dreamed it would be this much work, and, at 65+ it's been a challenge to say the least......whew! I've lost three inches off the waist line and am sore all the time!

Steve and Malissa Kelly came over last weekend and finished out the 60+ % left in the wiring of the shop. How great is that?! They even brought some of Ed's elk burger over.....what a bunch of fine folk we have gotten to know in this craft!!!!!We have also gotten to have Bruce and Kaye Bump up for a visit too. That's always a treat!

Anyone ever dropping thru our area is MOHRE than welcome to drop in for a visit.

I think I'm going to need a refresher course on knife making when this winter comes,as it looks like it'll be that long before I'm back in the shop.

Well, better get off the couch (yeah, right!) and get back to work.

Take care friends!
Dana

Sorry I couldn't be there to help with the wiring Dana! I'll make it up to ya somehow. (as long as you don't make me pour concrete!)

Things are lookin good, and I suspect be the time winter hits you'll be "snug as a bug" in your new home.....or better yet...your NEW shop!

Love you folks!

Great update Dana. Yup, might take a bit more work to get things buttoned up, but congrats on the progress.

Take care, Craig

Hiya Ed, Bing, and Craig!

Got a little more done on the front deck. The builder had access to some nice cedar logs for the uprights on the front porch. Gosh, we feel like we are bulding a mansion instead of a functional, simple house!

Hope you all are well and busy!

Kind regards,
Dana

Hi gang!

Sorry fir the delay in answering. We're headed for colorado for a short visit with the family and crashed in Sheridan, Wy for the night. Say, if you are ever needing a NICE and reasonable place to stay try The Mill Inn. It's the best place we've stayed in for a looong time, at only 80 a nite,

Steve, you saved us so much time and effort with your electrical prowess that is not even funny! The place should be insulated and rocked in inside three weeks! I'll get some pics posted then Jim, then you'll need to come see it in person. This invite is an open one frineds

Well, back on I25...."talk" to ya'all soon ,

Kind regards,
Dana
