Oh holy crap! I could barely make it through that video!
I had a biopsy taken on my pancreas about this time last year. The procedure called for me to be barely sedated. The anesthesiologist met with me beforehand and said, "I know the procedure calls for you to be in 'twilight', but we're going to aim for something more like 'midnight'." I said, "Stop! I'm ready to sign the papers!" "But there's more stuff..." "Nope, you said all I needed to know. I don't want to be awake until this is over." I woke up in post-op and my very first thought was "Good JOB!!!" 'cause I had no idea what went on. Good luck with all this, Ed. Know that you're in our prayers. __________________ God bless Texas! Thanks Gang!
Finally got the appointment dates. Cindy and I will leave home for Kalispel, MT (4 hour drive) on Sunday afternoon, then I have a consult visit with the Doc on Monday at 12:30pm, then the "procedure" on Tuesday. From what I can gather, they've decided to do another "procedure" on me.....this one is called "Endoscopically guided ultrasound, with needle biopsies"....must be a bit rougher, because the nurse I spoke with said it's done under "general" anestietic......which means Ed won't know nothin!  I just hope this one can give me some relief, I'm just tired of hurtin all the time. I sure hope this time they can find and fix whatever is wrong......it's 1:30am and I am sitting here typing becuase the pain won't let me sleep. I'm actually looking forward to this..just so I can be knocked out and not have to feel so crappy for a little while. (Yeah, I know.....I'm a few sandwiches shy of a picnic)
