EARLY American Copper Sockets

Been planning on posting this for awhile and hadn't found the time. This is from the Reader's Digest Book "America's Fascinating Indian Heritage"

Wild Rose Trading Co - Handcrafted Knife Sheaths

The beautiful sheaths created for storing the knife elevate the knife one step higher. It celebrates the knife it houses.

Look at the patina on those pieces!

I wonder what stories those pieces have to tell?

Had the crud for a week so I was laying around browsing trying to keep my mind off how much I have to do. (I learned a long time ago that when I feel like crap what I make during that time is usually crap).

Got this book and when I turned the page I immediately thought OUTPOST. What struck me most was the shape of the big knife on the left. The blade shape is almost exactly like some big table knives I have. Guess form does follow function.

Definitely "quality"
