GPC-1000 Kit

I want to eventually make some folders so I bought this and a DDR3BL to get a feel for them. I enjoyed putting this one together and did a little embellishing on it. The scales are solid surface counter top material. The bolster material is kinda gummy like pewter or something?? Waddya think?

I think that is about as nice as any knife kit I have seen. Very nice fit and finish every thing is nice and tight. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Whiskers

Good moves. Really gratifying build, you did!

The bolsters are cast metal. Not sure of the material.

Thanks for the look.

Well, the picture doesn't show the so-so job I did on the fit between the bolster/scales. The first side I matched the fit then drilled the holes > bigger gap than I hoped for. Second side I drilled the holes first > still not perfect!! Thanks for the compliments!
