The Ultimate Kit knife???

Hey, guys:

I've just finished what could be the ultimate kit I'll ever build. I say that because the materials alone for this kit cost me over 450.00. This is a damascus Typhoon blade, milled handles with white lip pearl (150 bucks alone for inserts!), mosaic pins, and a little basic file work on the latch. Please check out the website and let me know what you think. Once at the home page, click on finished kits to see how I made this baby! Enjoy! --Mad Dog Peter

Mad Dog, WOW..... ......

That knife is just gorgeous. It sure looks like a lot of work goes into those Typhoons.....You did an outstanding job. Thanks for sharing the photos and tutorial.

Very Nice. Did you sell it for $455.00 ? Where did you get the blade ?

Thanks, guys. I had to sell the knife for more than the cost of materials, of course, factoring in all my labor. My buddy was happy to pay for it and picked out the materials himself. The damascus blade used to be sold at knifekits. Not sure if they have anymore. It was a great knife to build, and I know my friend will enjoy it!
