Bird & Trout

I made this knife at the request of a man in Vermont, who had to cancel the order because his wife had (unknown to him) bought him a custom knife for his birthday. That said, I went ahead and finished it anyway, because I really liked the idea.

It is a direct steal of Jerry Fisk's (thank you, Jerry!) graceful "Bird & Trout" design, executed in CPM S30V. Tapered tang, stabilized Osage Orange scales, and sterling silver pins. Overall length is 6 1/2"; blade length is 3 1/4".

I can't recall ever having finished a knife that pleased me as much as this one does!

...and here's the reverse...

Hope you like it as much as I do!

As always Don, a very beautiful yet very functional knife with perfect fit and finish. Couldn't get any better.

What Robert said If your customer happens to see this he may suffer a severe case of the regrets !
This is a beautiful knife Bob, I can see why you're so happy with it - anyone would be

Don't know what the customer got as a present, but I'll bet it doesn't stand up to this one.

I like the way the belly of the knife "swells" out from the ricasso, giving it that "forged" look. Which i'm partial to. Excelent knife. I hope to match you skills some day.
