Shows in Europe

Hi People,

I find myself in the position of visiting my sister in Barcelona, Spain sometime this 1st half of 2004 I was hoping that someone could give me some info regarding European Knife shows between February and May of 2004, so that I could schedule a trip during those times and kill to birds with one stone so to speak.

The big one that I know of is the Paris show but that isn't until September.

Time for some research ... I will be back!

There is the JAGD und HUND show in Germany 27.01. - 01.02.2004.

I'm told there are a lot of knives there.

The 10th Annual Espolama Knife Show, scheduled for the Palazzo dei Cogressi, Piazza Indipendenza 4, CH 6900 Lugano, Switzerland, is coming up. Located in the south of the country, just across the border of Italy, this is a very fine show, featuring all hand made knives from makers throughout Europe, and Americans on occasion. For additional information, contact F. Bianda or H.P. Klotzli, at this Email address: info@espolama.ch. Their web site is at: http://www.espolama.ch

The Solingen show IS real good! Try and come if you can make it, the German Blade Museum in which the show is held is also well worth seeing, plus if you're in the area during the week, you can visit some of the factory stores in the Solingen area.
