CF Folder

This is a big liner lock that I just finished up. I was real happy with this one until I went to grind the blade. It was going great until I put the false edge on it. I think I can still straighten things out though. Overall I'm happy with it. It is very smoth to open, and locks up great. The blade is 3.5" (8.75" OA). I will be adding a pocket clip as soon as I get more. ALL comments appreciated.

SPECS:
Blade: ATS-34 (Heat treat & Cryo by Roger Linger) Rc 59
Scales: Carbon Fiber
Liners & Spine: Titanium

The false edge doesn't look that bad in the picture. Seems like the grind line doesn't meet at the point is all that's wrong. The simplest and safest way to fix that is just reshape the point slightly by bringing it down to meet the grind line....

Thanks guys...
It's just regular CF, that color is just my crappy attempt at taking pictures. I didn't have very good lighting.

It looks like you did a fine job. I can tell you that a false edge like you put on this one is somethng to study a while and do it with equalness on the sides. I used to put these on bowies and it was the most trying part of making the knife. You did a good job and be pleased with the learning experience too.

Thanks Dave. I did a practice blade first that turned out great, I just strugled with the good one. Over all I'm real happy with this one, the action is sooo smooth with no play when locked open. This one will be my own personal carry knife to abuse. I'll have 2 gent folders that I'm real happy with, finished in about a week.

Jeremy
