Lots and lots of work!!
A good friend of mine, Bill Wolfe, made these 8 knives as Christmas gifts for his family.
I gave him some help, but he did almost all of the work himself. Some in my shop, some in his shop. The blades are made of 440C stainless, heat treated and cryo treated in my shop. Bill is an engraver, so he wanted to see if he could engrave the titanium liners. That turned out great. We anodized all the knives different colors and made the engraving contrasting colors by anodizing. Now Bill's wife and sons and their families have something for Christmas that is truly unique. |

Titanium is anodized using a low voltage transformer.
