Cool My third knife ironwood and g-10

Here are a couple of mediocre pics of my third knife. The blade is flat ground on my state of the art Grizzly 1" x 30" grinder. O-1 tool steel...3/16" X 1 1/2". It is 4 1/8" long, overall length is 8 1/8". The handle is made of desert ironwood with black G-10 bolsters, brass 1/8th" pins and the spacer material is the result of a poor fit between the handle and bolster material. I wound up with gaps and had no actual spacer material so not wanting to wait for spacer material to be shipped yadda yadda yadda I improvised and ground down some hacksaw blade, coated it with superglue gel, and tapped it into the gap  and peened it in to fill the gap. Turned out looking pretty decent. Heat treated to non-magnetic then quenched and tempered in oven @ 400 for 1 hr. holds nice edge and I like the look of this one.

Very nice. I like the two tone handle. I'll have to try that.

Thanks for the replies and the kind words...I am trying to figure out how to post larger pics on here. If I size them too big I can't post and these are a little too small so I'll get it right eventually.

Nice knife. It is amazing how some knives are made and others "evolve" due to changes in design (We never make mistakes. We just do redesigns during construction.)
