CRex&RLo Collaboration Sheath
Lot of fun doing this with Carl. Tough to get everything just right when it's done miles apart. Good thing is working with each others ideas and making it happen. Most of this is Carl's talent at design and assembly, I just fumbled with the wee beads. The base is vegtan with elk over the top, fringe, lots more beads with tin cones and hair roaches attached. The frog has two antiqued buffalo head nickels which just set the whole picture off.

Pops, may you live as long as you want to and want to as long as you live.
Real nice work on the sheath guys. That bead work really sets it off. Carey __________________ Everything you do says something about who and what you are so ALWAYS sign your work with excellence. You are cordially invited to check out my web site: Handmade Knives by Carey Quinn |

Thanks for the good words Carey! Hope you get to the winter meeting and take a look in person!
Dad, what we might teach you would be a thimble in a bath tub compared to what you've passed to us. Many thanks! __________________ Rick Lowe |

Couldn't have done it without your encouragement Dad! The solid basics of this sheath are all Morrissey. You pounded the mechanics of a good sheath into my head, the rest is just lipstick. You have always been supportive and quick with advice garnished with sincere criticism. I agree with RLo, Dad, and proudly stand in you shadow.
I also need to thank Chuck. His work is a tremendous inspiration on the "lipstick". Although his tutorials are phenominal, I'd rather spend a moon or two in his lodge. Thank you RLo. What's next? (If anyone wants to see my wee-bead efforts, they only have to look at the floor of my shop!)
