Talking Back To Basics

Here is the first of a new model I call the GMC Hunter. 4" blade of CPM10V with a hand rubbed finish and black paper micarta scales. Overall length is 8 1/2".

This is what I wanted to make when I started making knives, sleek, solid working knives with nice lines and a pleasure to hold. I think I may be getting close.

Doug,
I think that is my favorite pattern that you've come up with. It looks like a winner to me.

have to agree with the rest, doug. this looks like a winner to me!
one question - how easy is 10v to maintain in the field? i always have my edge-pro along unless i'm packing in, but many folks just carry a little crock stick or something.
thanx

Smooth lines and a handle that looks like it would be comfortable during hard use. This is an excellent design.
