Push Dagger

Here is a push dagger I just finished up. I haven't done alot of push daggers so this was a learning expierence. The blade is forged from a 1084/15N20 W twist pattern damascus. I forged the blade and gave it a normal style stick tang. I then filed flats on the tang like I normally would to mount a guard. But instead of a guard I wrapped a nickel silver handle frame around the tang. From there it was a matter of finishing out the handle as you would a normal wrapped frame handle. The fun part was getting the juncture of the nickel silver frame and the juncture of the ricasso to match and flow nicely, it was a challenge. The handle material is Desert Ironwood.
