Knife throwing video

Here is a short YouTube video of my 8 yearold practicing his knife throwing skills using his matched set of 11" Lee Olsen OK's. I notice the sound is a little out of sync on the upload.

Looks like he's got it down. Has he done any competitive throwing?

I showed him the comments. His response was two thumbs up back to TexasJack and to Mike he said to tell you, "Only with his daddy".

He regularly beats the snot out of me. He throws two knives, I throw one. First one to ten wins. I tell ya, it is a struggle to win one game out of ten.

Cool! No need for a watchdog now, and he's in full view of the neighborhood! I think I'm going to try making a throwing knife.

hhmmm...couple weeks ago the neighborhood got hit by night crawling car thieves. Houses on both sides got hit we did not. I thought it was because my cars are junk. but hey, might be something to it. haha.

One time when the boy was about 4, the cops came rolling up. He saw them and took off full speed for the house. I called him but he would not stop. He ran in the house and told his grandma, "Grama, Grama, the cops are here and they are going to arrest "mine" Daddy" She thought he was kidding. laughed and sent him back out. He came back out all wide eyed. I said , "Say hi to the cops". He said "Hi cops". The officer laughed and said the neighbors had called and said the boy was out front throwing kitchen knives. I told him they were throwing knives and asked he want to see him throw. No he said he had to run to another call, but that he could not believe people had nothing better to do but call them for dumb stuff. He said when his brother comes to visit they make time to throw together like they did when they were kids.

I have my kid running around with a bow and arrows.

Yeah, it's a shame. People just seem to be getting farther and farther from the reality we know. Ever read Farenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury? It's a good story about the way society is heading.
