need to vent

So this piece of sxxh posted a grizzly g 1015 on eBay. Decent price so I contact him. I also find out he has it posted on Craigslist. I am 3000 miles away so a local pickup is a no way. He tells me to bid and he would work on shipping cost. I bid he ends auction early, my guess is he sold it local. If you auction something auction it, if u sell it then sell it wtf. Sorry need to vent I am grinder less and pissed. Nothing a little rum won't fix.

That is one of several of my personal gripes about how some sellers behave on eBay so I feel your pain. Still, while I sympathize with your loss of a good deal on the grinder this really isn't the place for us to vent about eBay. Contact them directly, call them and let them know how you feel about the policies that allow this type of thing to happen. I've done exactly that on more than one occasion and, once in a while, they actually seem to listen ...

Newbie, I wouldn't be too upset since the shipping would have been steep and who knows how they would have packed it.

Sounds like somebody who wanted to get rid of it quick, so I doubt they cared too much about packing it up. There are quite a few idiots like that out there, who double list something to get rid of it quick.

If you are set on a G1015 then I would just go ahead and get it shipped from Grizzly. Or you could just save some money a little longer and get a KMG. In the end you will be glad you got a new Grizzly, or even better held out and got a KMG. It is hard to remain patient when you want a new piece of knife making equipment. I held out and got a KMG and am so glad I just waited.

Good luck.

Make sure you get it out of your system before you get a serious grinder and turn it on. It won't care about your feelings and will eat you alive.

Thanks guys I knew I would get some good advice. I agree this may not have been the place to vent but had to get it out of my system. I am either going to build my own or get lucky and find one somewhere. Thanks crex I will always respect the power of whatever machine I do get god advice. Happy Easter all.
