Antique Lock Blade Knife .. Any Ideas On
age, maker etc. Blade has writing but difficult to read. Measures 12 7/8" open. Thanks for any insight.

I don't know if it's an antique, but it looks like a French Laguiole knife to me. I suspect the blade read "Laguiole". The South African Okapi pocket knives are also of similar design.

Thaks Chris,
