Need some advice.


I just finished this knife, any ideas on how to improve on the next one?

Scratching the guard..


Well. I put a nasty set of scratches on the guard when I was fitting the handles... is there anything you can do to prevent scratching the guard when sanding the handles to shape?

I usually shape and finish the guard and handles in the same operations, so both are taken down through finer grits at the same time.
