Case knives
So a question....
What is the meaning with the XX stamps on Case knives? Does a xx mean more than a 10 X or vise versa or is it something as simple as the year made? Just wondering sine I have several with different stamps. Merry Christmas to all, Billeep: __________________ From there to here, from here to there, funny things are everywhere. TG - 1960 |

Case has used XX for years. It originaly came, as I understand it, from the heat treating sequence with each tray marked with an X. Up until about 1964, XX was the brand on the blade. Then USA was added and in 1970, dots were put on the bottom. More change in that but your question was about the XX. Case decided to use this as the basic brand icon and has used it always.
