Help needed on taigoo.com

My administrator recently did an upgrade on my website in the "Gallery" and "Available" sections. Afterwards, some of the vertical pictures were getting chopped off at the bottom. I had to maximize my window to see the full page. I was hoping maybe some of you could check it out and see if it works O.K. for you? I never know what others people are seeing, just need a bit of feedback. I'd really appreciate it as this is my only real mode of business other than selling a few things to the locals. Thanks.

Much more room than before. I use to have to just grab a photo by the edge from the scrollpage insert at the bottom. Now all the thumbs are visible.

Tai,

Looks fine to me, but I always browse with my browser maximized. It looks like the bottom frame is set to be a percentage of the height of the page, so when your browser is not maximized, the bottom frame shrinks in proportion to the rest of the page. There is a way to make it a fixed height, if you'd prefer. Your admin should know how to make it a fixed height.

That's still a really cool site. I love the way everything is put together. The knives ain't bad, neither!

With a half-screen, full vertical browser screen, everything's fine. When I shrink the browser down to about a third page, the pic's in the gallery are partly obscured by the bottom row of thumbnails. i would think folks could just resize their browser a bit if they wanted.

Very nice site, Tai.

Tai,

What they said. I couldn't find any faults in the images or cutoffs. One aspect I don't love is in the Gallery/Presentation/Bush Series; having a LONNNNG horizontal scroll bar to view new thumbnail images. I almost missed the other two thirds. Who else might? But that's me.

I get lost in there. It's ALL good!

Coop

Looks good to me. You might want to ask your web master what screen resolution he has the page optimised for. I am using 1024x768 at work and 800x600 at home. Pages can look really different between the two.

I, too, have problems with the ultra-wide bottom scroll feature. I would prefer a page of tiled thumbnails, with basic descriptions, that are clickable to a larger picture. Also, I think most people are geared to thing that more=down, not more=right in terms of direction. Just my thoughts.

Everything else works just fine for me.
