Another Primitive Friction Folder

Here's another jawbone friction folder. This one is for an order placed after the first one was posted. Instead of making the blade from an old butcher knife like the first one; this one has a 3/32" L6 blade, brass pins and steel washers. Blade rides on teflon washers for a nice smooth action.

Thanks for looking

Now that I really like. How were you able to stabilize the jawbone?

Thanks folks. the jawbone was stabalized from the inside out to avoid any naties drying the the tight spots that might affect the cosmetics of the knife.

That's cool I got a hog jaw bone I just picked up. Thought about making a knife handle but the friction folder idea sounds good to. How did you secure the teeth did you grind a slot down the middle of the teeth to make a place for the blade to lay. Did you cement the teeth first.
