My 2 cents,
Its not how fast you grind a blade but how well it is ground. Let me explain, it does you no good to have a blade that is ground unevenly or off center(heat treatment will sufer) but only took 10mins. After HT it will take much more time to correct. No time savings in my opinion. Slow down take your time and learn from every blade.

At the Knife maker's Guild show a few years ago there was a contest on blade grinding and I watched Chris Reeve grind an almost perfect blade in under 3 mins., but he has ground thousands over the years in his benchmade shop.
