One Brick Forge X 8
Test to see if these pics post.
I took these pics with a 9 dollar digital camera that is about the size of a bic pen. They lost some resolution when i changed them to .gif. If you can tell what they are,you can see a front view and a side view. I took 8 fire bricks from an old fire place i tore down and stacked them up leaving a chamber in the middle. I sat my railroad track anvil on top tipped on its side. Stuck my cutting torch thru a hole in the side of the anvil and shot the flame down thru a hole in the brick. Did a test on a piece of scrap,then hardened two blades i have been working on. They are in the temper cycle now. Last edited by hammerdownnow; 03-17-2003 at 12:48 AM. |

not bad for a $9 camera - at least i can tell what it is that we're looking at. nice forge!
