Sinai daggers

Hi. I was wondering if anyone was familar with knives from the Sinai peninsula (locally called Sinai daggers). I used to work in Egypt and drilled a well on the Sinai. While I was there I picked up a bunch of kinives from the local bedouins. These aren't fancy tourist type knives sold in the bazars or anything but basically very rough knives made out of all sorts of material and used quite extensively. What's most interesting are the leather scabbards and the form of the knives that take all kinds of odd shapes. I don't have any pictures as they are all packed away but was curious if these have any value other than they look good.
