Stamp is a crown below the crown is the letter H Capitol. Below the h iw solingen. all within an oval.

I know this is waaaaaaay late, but if you're still around, are you sure that's not a "K" instead of an "H"?
It just might be Carl Julius Krebs (Kronenkrebs).

I love these Lazarus posts (the ones that come back from the dead).

Just for fun, if you find a knife with Solingen on it, that area produced maybe a million knives over the years. Mass produced and probably not worth a lot, except as maybe a cool knife or one that has family memories attached.

Hard to tell, would need to see some sort of maker/ID type marks on the blade. The sheath work looks more recent so not likely from the 1800's. Can you post close-up pics of the details like the handles and any blade ID markings?

No, they are certainly not knives from the "old west".....especially the one on the right, which is a reworked stainless butchery knife.
