photo contest 64 J. Morrison
This photo won't win any awards but at least the knife is ugly! I got this from a friend of my mom's. All he told me was that he got it in Africa during WWII and they used it to open C ration cans with.
Overall lenth is 19.5", blade is 13.5". Handle is very pitted and I have no idea what the material is. Sheath is in rough shape with the tip broken off. It is made of wood and covered with what I'm assuming is leather. There is very fine stiching down one side. I'm assuming the cord was wrapped to try and preserve the sheath. Now we have five entries. Let the voting begin! __________________ Jerry Morrison Dublin, OH |
