the fightin buck

this knife has a 6 1/2" blade with 5 1/4" of actual cutting length...10 1/2" OAL. the steel is blued 5160, differentially hardened with a slight convex grind and a 25 degree edge. the handle is large mule deer buck antler with two brass peening pins. The sheathe is tooled saddle quality leather, with a wrap of tooled saddle leather and a peice of mule deer antler attached to it...all hand stitched and hand dyed a mohagany color. the sheathe has gold plated quick release pin set with a seperate belt attatchment. That way the whole sheathe and knife could be removed or put on by just pulling out the little pin. it also allows the knife to swivel 360 degrees, and will not fall off. this is much more comfortable when sitting and such and when attached, the knife balances horizontally. price is $350 plus shipping. 10 day return policy minus shipping. I like paypal, and I think you can use credit cards through them too. If you need more pics let me know. Thank you for your time.

By the way, my name is Corey Peery, and I love this site. Some of you guys do some VERY beautiful work. I am not an abs smith or anything, but I learned the basics with a knifemaker in Japan he lived in koga city of ibaragi prefecture and I would help him build knives while I was living there. I am not an abs smith or anything, I just like to build knives, and if you are not satisfied(which I highly doubt) I will gladly fix, re-make, or re-fund minus shipping. I cut test all of my knives and make sure the edge holds up. I cut through a 2x4 stud, and this knife still shaved hair. I cut through a couple of gatorade bottles full of water, which I think is a great test....I like rolled soaked tattami, but don't have access to it here in Idaho. this knife is SHARP, durable, and heavy enough to cut through clothes and flesh. I make almost solely for the purpose of self- defense, and balance and weight my knives to be, in my opinion and knowledge, most effective for use against a clothed attacker. This particular knife was forged into shape by coal forge and hammer also. $350 + shipping. I hold all funds for 10 days to make sure you're satisfied. Thanks. Also, this knife handle has a palm swell that really fits a right handed person.
