Both appear to be from the same manufacturer, the German co. on the blade of the second knife.

The first appears to be a clip point hunter of some type, that has seen a LOT of sharpening and blade use, given the amount of metal missing from it. Used and abused, looks like.

The second looks more like a throwing knife by the blade profile.

German Soligen Blades were popular imports back in the 50s and 60s, iirc. They look like nice blades.

Odd when I purchased the first one I was told it was maybe old western, I looked up old western knives and they seemed similar but you know more than I do. As for the throwing knife I tried finding more info about the maker but was unsuccessful.
