Gene , I have been admiring all these self creatred tools , I really like the surface grinder , my question is when do you have time to make knives. |

I stay up at night. :cool: Actually knifemaking is a full-time job for me. I put in a lot of hours everyday except Sunday. Because I work for myself, I set the pace. I switch from task to task as I want. I average 50 to 60 hours a week in the shop. Sometimes more sometimes less depending on the order load. Sometimes you find yourself making nothing but mistakes working on a custom piece. That's when I step back and look for something else to work on for a while. Usually it is building a tool. |
