Killing me Ray!
Never thought about going by the local trick shop and getting one of those big plastic pennys......hhmmm....
The fun part is forging patterns into very small pieces of damascus and getting them to show without the entire blade disappearing in the etchant. This I know first hand.

Here's one with a "trick" reference backdrop (that's a Georgia peanut):

How can I find your gallery on the site attached to your link?

The miniature in your attached picture is exquisite! I'm glad you put the dime there for size reference. I definitely want to see more!

Once you get on the Georgia Guild site www.georgiaknifemakersguild.com click on "Member Galleries" and go to page 7, then just click on my name. The minis are scattered about in my gallery.
