Model 27s


Top one has brass hilt and butt around polished stag insert. Bottom one has NS hilt and butt around buffalo horn insert.

Excellent! I like the polished stag (and the horn). There's a lot to be said for a smooth handle in terms of comfort in-hand. Seeing your two together illustrates some of the subtle differences that result from the 'one man, one knife' approach used in the Randall shop. Apparently the Model 27 "Trailmaster" has been a hit for Randall. I sure like mine - here's a picture of it.
