Lava Flow, Ironwood Peacock

O.K. so you have to see it in person to see the lava flow, because of the chatoyant effect of ironwood when you turn the handle in the light it looks like there's a river of fire running though the wood.

Just finished this 3.25" peacock damascus blade, copper bolsters with black micarta, copper and brass spacers, desert ironwood burl scales.

Thanks for looking, Dave

Especially nice proportions on this one. As usual, your choice of materials is tasteful and elegant. I can only wish to see the irridescent effect that great ironwood has. (It's like photographing pearl. It's only a snapshot of a 'movie'.)

I like.

Very nice Dave. That blade shape appeals to me. Your use of the ironwood and copper once again sets a fine standard.

Oooh! That's nice. Your choice of ironwood is spectacular! The blade looks like it might be Damasteel as opposed to Damascus...? All-in-all very nice package.

Excellent combination of materials and textures.

Dave, that is one classy looking folder.
Every knife that you have brought out so far is beautiful, and each tops the last.
Thanks for posting.

Thank you for the great comments!, I really appreciate it.

Fellow forum member Megalobyte took my not so good picture, edited it and created an almost exact copy of the real knife so I wanted to share his very generous and very well done picture.

For some reason Fototime won't allow the full sized photo, too bad because a lot of detail is lost.

Ben, I keep looking for that beautiful Jake skinner that you showed me but I haven't seen it yet on the forums

Maybe this link will work for the full sized pic

Seriously, one of the absolute most beautiful folders I've seen in a very long time.
