first kit done
here is my first kit i have completed. as you can see from the picture(i hope) my scales look a little off. this happened when i drilled my holes for the screws. somehow i got the holes a little off and of course that means the entire scale shifted over that fraction of an inch. DOH!!!! oh well i still dont think it looks that bad for my first kit and my first set of made from scratch scales.
they are cocobola rosewood and i love the way they look. i guess i am not allowed to post pictures here yet so i guess you cant see it so never mind. |

Hi, Jakano. Welcome to the CKD.
Anyone can post pictures, but they have to be hosted somewhere on the internet first. Check out the top two posts in the Computer Center forum. They have all the info you'll need to be able to post your pictures. __________________ Jamey Saunders -- Charter Member, GCKG (Got a question? Have you tried to for the answer?) Jakano-
You are most certainly allowed to post pictures...But there is a method that you'll need to learn in order to post pics. (A trial by fire we all endure when we first join...it took me nearly 6 months to figure it out...fortunately for you it's gotten easier since then). There are two "stickies" over in the computer center that are there to instruct new folks like yourself all about the fine art of posting pics in the CKD Forums 8o ... Here's the link over to there: http://www.ckdforums.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=35 In the meantime, until you get that all figured out feel free to e-mail your pic(s) to me and I'll post 'em for you. You can get to my e-mail through my profile (located at the bottom of this post). Please send an e-mail and NOT a PM (Just a personal preference...PM's, both sending and receiving, fill up my mailbox too quickly). Dennis Greenbaum Yeah Baby! |
