Can someone explain a "bolster release" knife to me?
I was thumbing through an old "Newsletter" and found a ad for a bolster release auto knife. I am familiar with several release mechanisms, but not this. Is it similar to the scale release? Can anyone explain?

The bolster is attached to the front of the lock bar. You lift the bolster with your thumb and the front of the lockbar is lifted, releasing the lock.
