Finally got my new toy
Drove over to Evenheats plant in Caseville Michigan and picked her up. KF27 with the door cutoff switch and the Tap controller. So far i am rather impressed with the TAP, firing costs, ability to track the temp every second of the HT, ability to program firing schedules for HT and tempering of every steel I own, and the ability to run diagnostic tests on the system. There is a phone app that will let me control the kiln remotely but i haven't downloaded it yet.
[IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] I did a test HT and tempering of some 1084 to see what the firing costs would be. I entered the wattage of my unit and the cost per killawatt of power and that is what it cost for the HT. [IMG][/IMG] |

Nice looking oven, you're going to love it. I wouldn't make a habit of running it with the door open though...
