Assembly complete!

Thanks for all the info guys, it was very helpful in completing this knife!

Blade made from W2 from NJSB, nickel-silver guard and pommel from bar stock, African blackwood scales.

Used J-B Weld on the guard and pommel, and T88 with nickel-silver threaded rivets on the scales.

Now have to finish sharpening the blade, and make the sheath, then can deliver it!

Look'n good. You did a great job on the handle.

I'm impressed with the fit on the guard, handle and pommel. Is the pommel only attached with JB Weld? I like that blackwood too. Nice job!

No, there are also two pins through both the guard and the pommel. I use clear epoxy on the pins, crush rivet them into the holes, then file them flush.

Okay, well that's what I thought. I don't use guards but knew they were pinned on. The JB Weld discussion confused me a bit.
