Well, as usual, it was another great time with all of you at Andy's shop a few days ago. It is always a learning experience when we get to visit a shop, and set-up, we haven't seen before, and this was a rewarding trip. Also, I love the idea that 40 or 50 folks that I really do think of as my friends are all gathered in one place to celebrate and share this "fun thing" that we all enjoy so much. I remember a few months ago that Jim Hamer made a comment about how honored he feels to be a part of a group of people who are such genuine "folks"....and I feel exactly the same way.
Thanks for all the effort everyone put into the meeting, and thank the good Lord for the beautiful day we had. I hope to see you all soon.....james mitchell

Know exactly how you feel James. Rubbing shoulders and swapping lies with accomplished artisians such as youself, is always an honor and privilage. The skills and talents that our members bring to the table are continually inspiring and challenging. Always makes me push to do better.

Thanks for coming guys. It was great to have everyone in the shop. I'm still smiling about Randy and Carl being unable to light that forge...
