Bob Neal - RIP

Hi Everyone...

(please see updated note below on Bob's passing)

I'm hearing through the grapevine that Bob Neal has been injured very badly. This is on the heals of his recent motorcycle wreck (last year?). Anyway, I've called Les Robertson (message machine) and have offered support to help Bob out. I'm waiting on a callback from him for more details.

Bob is a really great guy. He lives close to me and has been over to visit our offices several times. I love him a lot and am really worried for him.

Neil Ostroff (http://www.truenorthknives.com) has volunteered to help keep things going for Bob's business, but I'm sure Les has everything under control.

Anyway, Bob has a lot of friends in this world... not the least of which are his friends at KNet!

If anyone has any more details, please post them here.

I'm close, so I can help!

Alex

Spoke to Les...

Bob was in a motorcycle accident Monday and is in the hospital. I'll keep everyone informed as Les passes along more details. He is going to see Bob ASAP.

Alex

Bob Neal - Accident - Update

Update on Bob (09/22/2010)

Received an e-mail update regarding Bob from Les Robertson today (posted below)

-------------------------------------------
I visited Bob in the hospital today. I talked he listened...nothing unusual about that.

I passed along everyone's good wishes.

Bob is going to be in ICU for some time to come.

If you would like to please send cards to Bob at:

Grady Health System
80 Jesse Hill Jr Drive SE
ICU 7L ? James Robert (Bob) Neal
Atlanta, GA 30303

For the time being I will be handling Bob's knife business.

I checked the in box on his computer today and it is completely full and there is a problem with memory. So it may be awhile before I can respond to those emails.

Feel free to email me with regards to orders at: les@bobnealcustomknives.com

Bob works for Delta Airlines and they are setting up a fund you can donate to at their credit union. When I have that information I will pass it along.

If you are so inclined....please pray for my friend.

Best Regards,

Les Robertson

Bob Neal - Passed Away - Tonight at 8:30pm

It was reported to me by a very saddened Les Robertson that Bob Neal has passed away this evening at 8:30pm

I was praying that he would get better and pull through this trauma.

For those of you who knew Bob, we lost a good buddy and a great friend!

Godspeed, Bob!

Alex
