First slipjoint

Its great to see all the threads showing all these great first slipjoints, as well as the more advanced work.
I have always been fond of slipjoints, but have not taken the time to try my hand at them. Last year I did spend time understanding patterns and components of traditional slipjoints. I made my first as a Christmas gift for my wife, shown before. Though not completely traditional, I am happy with it. I attempted a flush joint, and got fairly close to achieving it. I still need to get comfortable with the slipjoint geometry.
I now have several more traditional knives in the works, but have to sneak time in between my regular knife work.

That knife is awesome! I would be interested in learning how do so some of the detail work that you are doing on the bolsters. Can you explain how you did it, or point us to a resource showing how?
