Snow Day Folder

Got to take a snow day from customers and played in the shop. little coffee, little snow. lots of elbow grease and I got to try out a new pattern I've been fooling with.

all in all a great day

That's a neat little folder!
As for the pins.....did you just recess larger washers and peen the pins to fill the holes in the middle of the washers? Nice design, and you didn't have to mess with bolsters!

yea Kevin, they are just large 1/2" washers with a 3/32 pivot pin penned in. For some reason I really like the look and think I'll play with the idea.

I've had a good response with the folder design, I already have two orders

I like the idea of no bolsters. The design will lend itself to just about any kind of handle material.............a good way to use a nice small piece of wood.

Very nice! I really like the pins as well! You mentioned that you used washers and pins. How thick were the washers?
