What did you use for the spine etch vs the edge? That looks awesome

The spine is file work. Thanks for the compliment!

Let me clarify. How did u get the etch in the blade to look like that?

Ohh I understand now lol. That's a trade secret! I know people have done this type of etch before but I don't think they have done it the way I have.
Just search acid etching a blade on YouTube. You should get some pretty good ideas from that. I just expanded on what they did. __________________ J, Saccucci Knives, JSK |

I like the design and how it turned out with the acid etch!
Don't want you to divulge any trade secerts! One question though about the process, does the acid etch leave a rough finish, even when it is sanded out? __________________ C Craft Customs With every custom knife I build I try to accomplish three things. I want that knife to look so good you just have to pick it up, feel so good in your hand you can't wait to try it, and once you use it, you never want to put it down ! If I capture those three factors in each knife I build, I am assured the knife will become a piece that is used and treasured by its owner! C Craft |

Basically, I do the usual "poor mans damascus" etch several times, I guess you could call it layered. __________________ J, Saccucci Knives, JSK |

I have done etches like this before.. And the handle material like on this prototype is a trade secret. I don't sell it and only use it on my prototype blades. Any guesses as to what it is?? |

No problem man now to pry some info out of ya! Lol just kidding, I know what it's like to have a process of your own and not want the world to know about it.
